Both MSV and Transport and Logistics will be put off by a fortnight against the traditional term, this time taking place from October 1 to October 5, 2007. The time shift is due to the overlap with the global trade fair of machine tools EMO Hannover that will take place from 17 – 22 September 2007, the usual term of MSV. The Brno organisers make a friendly gesture towards the exhibitors and guests who are prospective attendants of both trade fairs. According to the decision of the General commissioner of EMO, namely, the EMO Hannover participants are free to exhibit machinery and equipment also at other European trade fairs in 2007. A similar situation occurred in 2005 already, when the branch of machine tools, forming and surface finishing machines with 588 exhibitors and over 19 000 m2 of exhibition area practically dominated MSV. Large-scale attendance of national and international manufacturers of machine tools and of forming machinery is expected also this year.
