The history of the Dubrovnik airport
The history of the Dubrovnik airport can be divided in four
different periods witch begin in 1936. at the airport in a place
called Gruda at Konavle.
After the Secand World War the airport was built on a new location in
Ćilipi where its stands today.
Award by British Airways
Dubrovnik Airport LTD was awarded by British Airways as a winner of the British Airways best perfoming award for ground handling services, on shourthaul operations, in the competition of 65 international stations, through the period of last 18 months.
The certification was personally handed to Dubrovnik Airport deputy director, Mr. Frano Luetić, by British Airways director of ground operations Mr. Geoff Want, on 17 th of November in London British Airways head office.
